Class 3

CLASS 3 FOREST SCHOOL

Class 3 enjoyed their first session in Forest School this week. It was so lovely to see them applying everything they had learned last year and enjoy themselves outdoors.

 

 

MATHS WHIZZ IN CLASS 3

The children have really enjoyed working on Maths Whizz. They are keen to improve their maths ability (and really enjoy playing the fun maths games!)

 

ART IN CLASS 3

In art this week, Class 3 looked at how artists can convey emotions using warm colours and cool colours. They were then challenged to create a picture using either just warm or just cold colours. They produced some great art work which they were very proud of!

CLASS 3 ART WORK

The children from Class 3 enjoyed creating art based on the works of a number of famous artists. They were all incredibly proud of the pictures they created in the style of LS Lowry. I am sure you will agree they are great pictures!

CLASS 3 CALL OF THE WILD

CLASS 3 had an amazing day at Call of the Wild. They enjoyed seeing and learning about the animals. Perfect way to end their topic on Rainforests.

CLASS 3 ANIMAL VISIT DAY

The children had a brilliant time learning about the animals who visited our school. They had the opportunity to hold White Frogs, stroke a chinchilla and a 10 foot snake, hold a giant snail and watch the owls fly overhead. What a great experience for them all!

Archer from class 3 had a busy weekend! Tiptree Parish Council bought a selection of native trees and asked The Conservation Volunteers Essex (TVC) to organise the planting on Windmill Green. The community was asked to go along on Sunday and help. Archer had a fabulous time and it is wonderful to see he has spent his free time doing something which will benefit the community. Thank you and well done Archer!
